DO… realize why you’re here. DO… make decisions confidently. Like a lot of people, you may be used to always following instructions or getting told what to do by a superior. Understand that now you’re the CEO – you make ALL the key decisions. Work with experienced mentors; they’ll be able to help guide and inform you, but in the end – you’re the one in the driver’s seat.

DON’T… lose focus. For most home-based business owners, there’s not a lot of personal support from a business standpoint. There are mentors that will guide you, but motivation can sometimes be hard to find. Read motivational books, participate in conference calls, write motivational phrases that you can post somewhere you will always see them, spend time with your mentor… these are just a few of the simple things that can help you keep focusing on running a lucrative business proficiently.

You just have to maintain focus and work in the most effective way possible – whether it be building your team, generating sales or just motivating your team.
